Refrigeration & HVAC Compressor Control
The compressor control system manages the start/stop sequence of the compressor, the capacity (load/unload) steps and the HP/LP and oil pressure safety cut-outs.

Scope of service
Refrigeration & HVAC Compressor Control service
We provide installation, PLC and HMI renewal, programming and troubleshooting for compressor control systems in marine air conditioning, provision cooling and reefer plants.
The compressor control system manages the start/stop sequence of the compressor, the capacity (load/unload) steps and the HP/LP and oil pressure safety cut-outs. It controls the condenser and liquid line solenoid valves and shows pressures and temperatures on the operator panel. In place of failed original control units and HMIs, we carry out complete renewals with Siemens S7-1200 PLCs and SIMATIC HMIs, staying faithful to the ship's electrical drawings.
Supported Brands
Teknotherm, Siemens and many other manufacturers' compressor and control systems.
Years of technical expertise and our ability to respond quickly in the field are what make us the preferred choice.
What we do
- Renewal of failed HMIs and control units with Siemens S7-1200 PLC and SIMATIC HMI
- Compressor start/stop and capacity control logic written in TIA Portal from the electrical drawings
- Installation and set point adjustment of HP/LP and oil pressure safety cut-outs
- Wiring and calibration of pressure and temperature transmitters
- Live pressure, temperature, capacity and solenoid status monitoring on the HMI; alarm list
- Condenser and liquid line solenoid valve control
- Commissioning and testing under load on board
Automation Systems
Other systems
- Alarm & Monitoring System (AMS)AMS continuously monitors parameters such as temperature, pressure, level, speed and flow at every critical point of the vessel, above all the engine room, and alerts operators with audible and visual alarms when set thresholds are exceeded.Learn more
