Incinerator Automation
Incinerator automation manages the combustion sequence, burner and sludge feed, combustion air and fuel control and the safety interlocks of the incinerator.

Scope of service
Incinerator Automation service
We provide installation, PLC and HMI renewal, programming, calibration and troubleshooting for marine waste incinerator control systems.
Incinerator automation manages the combustion sequence, burner and sludge feed, combustion air and fuel control and the safety interlocks of the incinerator. Combustion chamber and flue gas temperatures are controlled by PID loops; temperatures are monitored and alarms are shown on the operator panel for operation in line with MARPOL rules. In place of old PLCs and operator panels with lost programs, failures or no spares, we carry out complete renewals with Siemens S7-1200 and SIMATIC HMI.
Supported Brands
Siemens, Mitsubishi and many other manufacturers' incinerator control systems.
Years of technical expertise and our ability to respond quickly in the field are what make us the preferred choice.
What we do
- Replacement of incinerator PLCs with lost programs or failures with Siemens S7-1200
- Rewriting the combustion sequence and burner control in TIA Portal
- Setting up and tuning the combustion air and fuel PID loops on board
- Checking and calibrating temperature, pressure and flame sensors
- Monitoring of safety interlocks and alarms on the HMI
- Replacement of old operator panels with SIMATIC HMI
- Burning tests and commissioning on board
Automation Systems
Other systems
- Alarm & Monitoring System (AMS)AMS continuously monitors parameters such as temperature, pressure, level, speed and flow at every critical point of the vessel, above all the engine room, and alerts operators with audible and visual alarms when set thresholds are exceeded.Learn more
- Inert Gas Generator (IGG)IGG systems eliminate the risk of explosion and fire by lowering the oxygen level in cargo tanks.Learn more
- Power Management System (PMS)PMS guarantees the stability of the ship's electrical system by managing automatic generator start/stop, synchronisation, load sharing and load shedding.Learn more
- Main Engine ControlThe Main Engine Control system monitors all main engine operating parameters and manages safe start/stop, speed control, fuel injection timing and manoeuvring.Learn more
- Boiler AutomationThe Boiler Automation system automatically manages combustion control, water level regulation, steam pressure and safety functions.Learn more
- Generator AutomationThe Generator Automation system manages automatic generator start/stop, voltage regulation (AVR), frequency control (governor), protection relays and parallel operation.Learn more
- Cargo & Ballast Gauging SystemsCargo & Ballast Gauging systems play a critical role in cargo loading/discharging on tankers and in ballast management on every vessel type.Learn more
- 95-98% Overfill Protection SystemThe Overfill Protection system prevents tanks from exceeding the set level during cargo loading on tankers, eliminating environmental disasters and safety risks.Learn more
- Bow Thruster Control SystemThe Bow Thruster Control system controls the vessel's lateral movement during port manoeuvres and in narrow waterways, enabling safe berthing and unberthing.Learn more
- Standby Pump ControlThe standby pump control system starts the standby pump automatically when the running pump trips or the line pressure drops.Learn more
- Refrigeration & HVAC Compressor ControlThe compressor control system manages the start/stop sequence of the compressor, the capacity (load/unload) steps and the HP/LP and oil pressure safety cut-outs.Learn more
